Neta Pulvermacher (Artistic Director & Resident Choreographer) was born in Kibbutz Lehavot Habashan, Israel, and graduated from Juilliard in 1985. Since
founding the Neta Dance Company in 1987 she has choreographed over 65 works for her company and other companies and institutions around the world. In New York, her company has been presented at Dance Theater Workshop, Danspace Project, The Joyce Theater, 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Series, Symphony Space, The Flea Theater and The Kitchen among others.  The company has enjoyed touring to  great acclaim throughout the U.S., Israel (Israel Festival), Europe, Costa Rica and Canada in addition to its noted collaborations with avant-guard musicians and composers, such as Roy Nathanson and The Jazz Passengers, John Zorn and Masada, Anthony Coleman, Yuval Gabay and the English rock band XTC among others. Neta's artistic vision is supported by the NEA, NYFA, The Jerome Foundation, Mary Flager Cary Charitable Trust, Maxine Greene Foundation and The Greenwall Foundation among others; and she received a special choreography award from Bessie Schoenberg (1995). Neta also is the founder, original curator and producer of the critically acclaimed A.W.A.R.D. Show! Series held at Joyce Soho and this year expanded under the Joyce Theater leadership to Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Philadelphia.   Pulvermacher choreographed for Mira Nair’s film The Namesake.   In April 09 Neta was invited to Ecole Des Sables in Senegal to teach a choreography workshop for 20 contemporary Africa choreographers.  Neta is on the Faculty of the University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance.   Neta is the 2010 UF College of Fine Arts Teacher of the Year.   In May of 2010

she is directing the first UF/Israel Dance Study abroad program.




   

Karen Harvey (Dancer) is originally from Raleigh, NC. In 2004 she graduated with a BFA in contemporary dance from tCarolina School of the Arts. She has had the pleasure of dancing with Neta Pulvermacher since 2005. Karen also dances for Rebecca Lazier's Terrain, and -has made appearances in the work of Renee Archibald, Christopher Williams, and Jessica Gaynor. Karen also enjoys choreographing and her work has been shown in New York, Japan and North Carolina.








Colette Krogol  (Dancer) is a native of Miami, Florida, is a recent BFA graduate of the University of Florida. She is also an alumnus of New World School of the Arts. Colette has been fortunate enough to perform works of Jose Limon, Paul Taylor, Shapiro and Smith, Helen Tamaris and Michael Foley. Her choreographic work has been produced at the American College Dance Festival Gala and at New Grounds Dance Collective in Tampa, FL. In addition to working with Neta Dance Company, Colette also dances with YelleB in New York City and is the Co-Artistic Director of orange grove dance. She would like to thank God, Lut, dad, her family, the Gator clan and Matt for always believing, supporting, challenging, and loving. Go Gators.







Meghan Merrill (Dancer) graduated with a BFA in dance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006.  Since then she has had the pleasure of working with Aimee Rials and Dancers, Lauren Hale Dance, Young Soon Kim Dance Company, Kyle Abraham/abraham.in.motion, and the Fischerspooner Dancers.  She understudied for Mark Morris' Orfeo ed Euridice at the Metropolitan Opera in May 2007.  She also performed in CHAMP: A Space Opera, choreographed by John Heginbotham as part of the 2007 NY Fringe Festival.  She is excited to be working with the Neta Dance Company.




                              

                              

Matthew Reeves (Dancer) is a recent BFA graduate of the University of Florida. Matt has performed with the Florida MOD Project, The People's Touring Project, Shadow Dance Theatre, and Diavolo. His choreographic work has been seen and produced at the American College Dance Festival Gala and at New Grounds Dance Festival in Tampa. In addition to working with Neta, Matt is currently dancing with danceTactics and is the Co-Artistic Director of orange grove dance. Matt would like to thank God, his family and Colette for all their love and support. GO GATORS!!!






         
             

Rebecca Warner (dancer) grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University with a BA in Neuroscience.  She has worked with Chih-Chun Huang, Dana Ruttenberg, Jamie Bishton Dance, the Mark Morris Dance Group, and the Metropolitan Opera Ballet.  She currently dances with fivefour dances, Karen Carbonell, Diana Crum and Dancers, and the Neta Dance Company.







 

Robin Neveu Brown (dancer) is a native of Virginia Beach, VA,where she studied dance at the Governor School for the Arts. She then attended the University of Florida and received her BFA in Dance in 2007. Robin currently lives and dances in New York. She has had the pleasure of dancing work by Shapiro and Smith, Adele Myers, Paul Taylor, and Michael Foley and has had amazing performance experiences in the US, Russia, and even Albania. She currently dances for Neta Pulvermacher, Deganit Shemy, and Tara Lee Burns and is a certified Pilates instructor. Robin has  recently started creating her own dance theatre work with her endlessly talented actor/singer/musician husband, Kevin Brown. Robin would like to thank Neta and the company, her friends, and family for love, support, and inspiration.
